Is it subsconsciousness at play? I rummaged a pile of old books in the attic and found, among others, Lindsey Davis's "Ode to a Banker"

Don't think I share the current global mood towards the profession, or care. Just that... I had a good fit of laughter today watching world's top bankers being grilled in the USA and UK. Wish our own members of parliament had had the guts to do the same to our long lost BLBI obligors.

But I think I definitely need something cheerful and uplifting in this bleak economy. I'd reread the book. Must admit I miss good old Marcus Didius Falco.
